Washi Tape Leaves

decorate leaves with washit tape ~ a simple craft for all ages

Recently, nosotros went on holiday to a beautiful Caribbean isle for a family reunion. We ate, slept, hiked, visited beaches, laughed with family, took a million photos, made some t-shirts, and simply had the time of our lives. I brought with me a bag of washi tape (as well-nigh people do) considering I idea information technology would be the simplest crafting supply to bring with the nigh possibilities. I was right! We made washi tape bracelets, crowns, fans, and these beautiful leaves.

I made this collage more for myself because I MISS MY Island! One more chance to stare at these photos is never a bad idea. (Via my Instagram.)

There is a very curt supply listing: Merely washi tape, and leaves. Since you lot tin't bring scissors on the plane, you have to hope that there are scissors you lot can borrow where you are staying. Or alternatively, the kids can just rip the tapes, which is what some them did anyway.

Hither are some good sources for washi:

Amazon sells washi tape and I get mine at that place quite ofttimes because I take Amazon Prime which means costless shipping! I purchase this pack of neon tapes, and these striped and patterned tapes.

Etsy sells tons of washi tape, besides. You tin can merely search "washi tape" and you'll get hundreds of dissimilar sellers. I use Pretty Tape quite often, and besides My DIY Lab and Divine Supply.

Although I made some leaves, too, the best ones were made past the kids. Mine were boring in comparison! This one above was made past my 13-yr onetime nephew.  It was truly a craft for all ages.
